Trip to Sabak Bernam
Last weekend, I spent my holiday in Sabak Bernam with my Mahaguru,Cikgu Nasir. We were visiting his friend,Cikgu Amiruddin,who is a Head Of Department in Industrial Department,Sultan Idris Polytechnic. He is a very kind and flexible man.
Depart from KB at 4.30 pm on Thursday, and reached Sabak Bernam at 2.00am on Friday. What a long and tired journey. But, I was very happy that I can accompanied my Sifu. We stayed at Guest Room.
Friday,7.40 am,Cikgu Nasir & I went to Cikgu Amir's office. He showed us varieties of Kayu Kemuning and others which have a great market value. Then, we talked about Serow. Serow is a goat-antelope which has medication value.
Around 11.30, we moved to Teluk Intan to meet a guy,who is an expert in making knives.Mr Tan his name.Ex-Science teacher.He taught us how to recognise good steel to make knives.One of the steel is L6 a.k.a Low Alloy steel.Almost the whole day we were there.
Thereafter,at 8.00pm,we back again to Sabak Bernam to meet one old and knowledgeable man,name is Pak Su. He is from Satun Sultanate and also,never expect that he is my relative.Pak su taught us about to make traditional medicine using wood mixture also called 'akar 'kayu'. Pak Su,he was the one who boiled Cikgu Amir serow's head to make antidote.
Cikgu Nasir & I were the new nephews of Pak Su.
I felt so glad to join my master in this valuable trip.I wish my master ask me again to follow him,wherever he wants to go to seek the secret of Allah knowledge.
